This photo of Deshi was taken in April when he received his very first board with his name on it. It was 17 years ago when I had this feeling when I got my LOVE board in the ZOO warehouse. JACK SABBACK GUEST EDITOR OF THE MAG

For the August 2010 issue of The Mag, Jack is the guest editor. Even with a buttery switch ollie to look at it's his words that captured the page. In a mere few paragraphs Jack goes from being the young guy to being the old guy. His references were on point and too funny. It is inevitable that we all must go through this transformation so sit back and enjoy aging. But if Jack is an old guy, then damn, what category do I fall into? Good read Jack.

TRAFFIC REPORT 7/7/2010

Sometimes when it's chilly out you don't feel like getting into it but you still want to roll around. Hitting the streets is still one of my favorite things to do and occasionally I want to hitch a ride. Doing it on the fly is fun but going out to specifically to film it is funny. You post up a few yards from the intersection and when the time is right you spring into action and hang on. A lot of the times though you get a scared driver who brakes and thinks you are trying to kill yourself, I don't like them peeps. I am more for the "fuck you then" type people who floor it trying to buck you like you were in a rodeo. Really the best is when you creep through society doing whatever you want and the people behind the wheel are oblivious to what you are up to. Is skitching a real word? Who made that up? I don't like that word, it doesn't sound fun. One time we were doing it and........................

TRAFFIC TO BE DISTRIBUTED BY SYNDROME.

Syndrome Distribution and Traffic Skateboards have agreed to a deal that would have Syndrome manufacture and sell Traffic products through their distribution channel. Just got a message from investigative reporter, Rich Adler, that LOVE park is being skate stopped right now. You are hearing it here first folks (not that I am reaching people), lets wait and see how this unfolds. I will post a picture later today. Got a photo sent from Stein. Will it just be the top ledges?

When Deshi came to visit a while back, he was heaven, skating all the spots he has seen in the videos. Deshi came up and conquered new territory. Deshi is working on his own with Big Wing but we give you a little bit of Deshi. Go SKATE.
